How to Quickly Search Google By Handwriting on Your Smartphone ...

Google prides itself on giving users the ability to search the web using any means possible, whether?speaking your queries,?getting results before you finish typing, or?searching by image.

Now there?s a nifty new way to search Google on your mobile device.

If you ever find yourself in the situation where it?s hard to type using the touchscreen on your smartphone or tablet, you now have the option of handwriting using your finger with Google Handwrite.

When would you ever use this feature?

Pretty much anytime the touchscreen is hard to use or would be awkward, and even rude, to go into full typing concentration mode.

Think about all the times you?re in a bumpy taxi or bus ride, walking down the street, at lunch with a customer or on a tablet during a sales pitch with a potential client.

Google?Handwrite works best in Chrome on Android devices and is?experimentally?available on iOS5+ devices, Android 2.3+ phones and Android 4.0+ tablets?in 27 languages.

Here?s How Google Handwrite Works:

1) Go to Google.com using your mobile device browser, select Settings, enable Handwrite and click Save. Refresh your browser.

2) If you?re using a tablet, the settings section is available under the gear icon. Once you?re there, follow the directions in step 1.

3) Once the feature is enabled, click on the handwritten letter ?g? (for Google) to activate Google Handwrite search.?Now test it out for yourself by searching for something.

You?ll find that you don?t even have to complete your search term as Google Instant search will start to show relevant search results as each letter is drawn.
